Management Committee


Right on the heels of the Board of Directors is the Management Committee of the Company. It is an organ of top Management for joint decision making with respect to the operational requirements of the various departments of the Company. The Management Committee is essentially a problem-solving, resource allocation/management and target monitoring instrument of top management.  As a decision-making body, the Management Committee is the highest internal management decision making organ, and is made up of all Heads of Departments, Manager Financial Services as a non-voting member, the Company Secretary as Secretary to the Committee and the Managing Director/CEO as Chairman.

The Managing Director’s Bureau is accompanied by specialist staff deployed to function in the Internal Audit and Management Information Services sections.

The Internal Audit Section headed by the Manager, Internal Audit ensures that all payment and revenue recorded are properly recorded, error and fraud free. To assist the Manager, Internal Audit is the Officer who ensures that all records sent in to the section are correct and perfect and that there is strict compliance with the laid down auditing procedures and regulations. Providing the necessary back up services needed for the optimum performance of the professional audit staff is the Assistant, Internal Audit.

The Management Information Systems headed by the Manager, MIS ensures that information collected from Accounts, Commercial and other departments of the Company are processed and results made available to user departments as and when requested.

The Computer Programmer/Analyst ensures that individual department needs of the Company are accurately analyzed and appropriate programmes written to meet these needs.

The Computer Maintenance Officer ensures prompt repair and maintenance of the Company’s computer hardware.

While the Data Entry Clerks ensure that data are keyed into the computer and retrieved when needed.

Administratively, the Company is managed through a five-department structure comprising:

Department of Water Engineering – Core Service

Department of Technical Services – Technical support/maintenance services

Department of Administration – Managerial Services

Department of Management Services – Business support services

Department of Corporate Affairs – Professional services
